Time to trade in dry skin for a healthy summer glow with a double dose of exfoliation and moisture. Exfoliation is great for turning over the dead layer of skin on the surface and of course we all know skin looks so much better when its moisturised. Below are a few tips to get your feet primed and ready to embrace sandal season.
Step one: Soak feet for five minutes in warm water. This helps to soften and prep the skin for exfoliation.
Step two: Slough off dead, flaky skin in the shower with sugar Scrub Souffle. The texture of this scrub is perfect for lifting away all those flaky bits.
Step three: Slather on moisturiser such as our Whipped Shea Butter which is loaded with antioxidants and vitamins, which help to nourish the skin. And might I add that with this product you will find that a little goes a long way.
Step four: Get toenails ready by cutting them straight across and slightly rounded in the centre, which will keep them strong and prevent ingrown toenails.
Step five: The perfect accessory; a fresh coat of polish. But before you polish, gently clean underneath them with a manicure stick.
Step six: Remeber to keep your tools squeaky clean. After each pedicure, give your tools a good scrub with soap and water. Then soak them in a disinfectant solution like rubbing alcohol for at least 10 minutes.
And there you have it, six easy steps to get your feet looking beautiful as we embrace the warmer weather. Now get out there and enjoy!
